First Ever Charity Tuesday
Tuesday 11 March was our first ever Charity Tuesday. Charity Tuesday is a new program that AIELC have introduced. Each Tuesday we will choose a different charity to donate to.
A brief discussion will take place with relevant information, fact sheets and brochures at hand. This will be a great opportunity for students to practice their English, learn new vocabulary and understand how they can benefit the wider Australian community.
On Tuesday 11 March we raised funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). They were kind enough to send us some brochures about Breast Cancer and the work that the NBCF do.
Our students and staff wore pink for the occasion and raised $35.15, which was a great effort. By no means is our donation a huge amount, but we hope that every little bit counts!
